To begin with, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might have made her Bollywood debut in 1997, but her first commercial was for Camlin pencils back when she was only in 9th grade in school!
Now, we know that there’s more to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan than her amazing looks and celebrity status. The actress is not just beautiful, but also very intelligent! Back when Aishwarya was young, she wanted to pursue medicine and her favourite subject was Zoology.
But later Aishwarya Rai went on to pursue architecture in Rachana Sansad College of Architecture in Mumbai. Now, this college happens to be the topmost architectural college in Mumbai. However, she later dropped out and pursued modelling.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also was the first Bollywood actress to get her wax statue at the prestigious Madame Tussauds in 2014.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was also the first Indian actress to have featured on the widely-watched USA show Oprah Winfrey back in 2005.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was also the only actress to have been invited for lunch by the US President George Washington Bush back in 2006 when he had visited India. However, the actress could not attend it.
Another fact that not many people know of, is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan pledged to donate her eyes to the Eye Bank Association of India.
